We are Cart Path Only all year round?

Fairway grass typically grows in an optimal soil depth of 5”-7’’, producing a long and healthy root system. At Brewster’s, we have 3’’ of soil that our turf grass grasps to survive. Excess traffic on the fairways would be devasting. We are always Cart Path Only for this reason. Thank you for respecting our cart rules to preserve our course conditions. We do offer Handicap Flags for those who need, this allows guests to drive to their ball at 90 Degrees.

Do we have a blue medical flag?

Yes we do. A blue medical flag can be requested and placed on your cart if you have mobility issues.

This will allow fairway access regardless of the current cart path rule. We do request that you still respect your distance from greens, tee boxes and long fescue grass.

Do we allow none golfing ride-alongs?

Brewster’s Golf does not allow any non-golfing individuals on the course at anytime. All players must purchase a green fee to walk or ride on the course.

Do we have a driving range?

We do not have a driving range. Come warm up and practice at our net as well as our chipping & putting green located in front of the Golf Shop.

Do we have rental clubs?

Yes, we do! We offer rental clubs for both 18 & 9 holes. We offer Golf Trends Striker Sets. Please call the Golf Shop and let us know that you are needing to rent. If you forget, just let us know when checking in.

Please note that every golfer must have their own set of clubs, players cannot share clubs.

Can we use our own GPS device at your course?

Yes. Our course is supported by Sky Caddie, Garmin & Bushnell. Please note that you may have to upload/update your device before coming here to ensure the most current course details are on your device.

Can you just play 9-holes?

Yes, you can come and play 9-holes anytime midweek and after 2pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Do we allow pets?

We do. We just ask that your fury friends do not ride in the carts, stay off the greens, remain on leash and that you pick up after them.

Can you walk?

For those who are wanting to reach their step goals, we have pull carts available for rent. You will find more elevation loss & gain on the Front 9 than the Back 9.

Can you bring a stroller on the course?

For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed on the course. Babies are not recommended on the course.

Dress Code Policy

At Brewster’s Kananaskis Ranch Golf Course our dress code is smart casual, golf attire required at all times. Any form of dress deemed offensive by the Golf Shop is not permitted.

Do we offer Rain Checks?

We know the weather in the mountain can change on a dime, that is why we have a Rain Check Policy that provides guests with a Green Fee Rain Check for instances of inclement weather. Players who rent Power Carts will also receive a Rain Check when they encounter instances of inclement weather. Rain Checks are valid for the season purchased in ONLY.

Do we have a restaurant on-site?

Brewster’s has a great Kiosk that will meet all your snack needs. You will find light snacks, Hot Dogs & Smokies and Gourmet Sandwiches. Come sit on our patio and enjoy the sights of Yamnuska.

What is the weather like there?

With mountain ranges surrounding Brewster’s Golf, weather can be hard to predict and we often see forecasted systems pass right by us or blow past in a matter of minutes. You can check out the current weather forecast online.

Can I purchase a Gift Card?

Yes. Gift Cards can be issued and mailed out to any address in Canada. Gift cards can be bought in any denomination and used for green fees, merchandise or at our concession. Please call us (403-673-2700) to order your gift card or purchase one during your next visit.

Can we play as a group of 5?

The maximum group size per tee-time is 4.
